The Life of Rasu 51: My Partnership
Hey everybody, and welcome back to my blog. SO It's march now, w00t, one more month closer to my birthday.... next month! HEHE. Alot of exciting things happenin this month. Probably going to be visiting Elisa and Britty for the Easter Holiday, and my uni winds down to a close for the first semester. Wow, almost done a whole semester already! feels like i just started, lol.
So whats happened lately though, Well a big thing actually. Me and my friend started our own little band. Now before you go WTF, it started off just for fun, and we recorded a song as a joke. And its one of those things where its so bad, its good (though i personally think Shan is a good singer), but yea, its not like a real band with 4 members.
Its basically me and one of my besties, Shannon. We are like BOTH obsessed with not just musicals, but especially Rocky Horror Picture Show. And a couple nights ago, we decided to do a audio chat on msn (we both got mics, but only i got a cam). ANyways, over the mics, even though there were time delays, we cranked up our itunes and started singing songs. Well for 2 of em, i put on the windows sound recorder (with shans persmission ofcourse). And while they sounded pretty bad, they were REALLY funny. So we said, u know wat, we should put em on myspace!!!
So we set up the account, but we needed a band name. So shan came up with SARP (Shannon and Ryan Productions), and so SARP was born. If your reading this, you've probably already got a friend request. If not, go to http://www.myspace.com/sarpshannonandryan and ADD us ASAP!!! Atm of writing, we only have 2 songs, I Believe I can Fly, and Sweet Transvestite. Both are Demo versions, not the full song. We're gunna record full songs soon, gotta figure out a way to get better mic connection together rather then the msn one, since msn has ALOT of like lag time. Like i'll say sumfin, and Shan wont get it till 5 secs later. We just kinda imrpovd around it on our songs, but u can notice it a little bit. O, and before some says 'Why dont u just record in the same room or sumfin', well she lives in Victoria, Im in Queensland. LOL
So apart from having an absolutely awesome time with Shannon over msn, all i've been up to lately is Stressful uni. My Bday is coming up really soon though, right at the end of Uni semester, so that what i got to look forward to :D
