The Life of Rasu 47: My NoHeato
(Including Video Blog 4: My Film Set)
Hey Everybody! Welcome back... wait who is still reading these things? Hopefully many people, but then again, I just love to be able to store my experiences and stuff in a place. And if its availible to the public, hell what do i care. Anyone could just ask me a question about any of the stuff i cover in these, and i wouldn't mind telling them.
So whats been happening lately in my week you ask? Well, i've been VERY stressed lately. Cause Uni has been an absolute chore. I'm at the halfway point of my first semester, and alot of big assignments have been due/in the process. Not to mention i got a film due in 2 weeks, and we shot it this week. O and by shot it, i mean 9 hours of being on a film set, spanning over 2 days, to shoot a ONE MINUTE film! ARGH! Why is it this hard!!!
And then, there comes the other big emoticon i've been living my life through lately, and while i dont actually HAVE an emoticon for it, i'll just say it: lonliness. Now, i know its silly, and i had a very good chat with a very good friend of mine when i was down in melbourne (two guesses who it was, lol), and she gave me some VERY good advice on the matter, and told me that if it wasnt working atm, maybe i should just give it a rest, concentrate on my studies, not try to rush it and just get really desperate. Well personally I am taking your advice, and I really have been trying really hard to focus on my studies...
But then, another friend, tells me this on msn, and i kinda quote: 'Dude, your blogs arn't interesting anymore! Theres no tension, like there was in high-school, no excitement, no HEAT! You have no heat! You are Mr. No Heat. Oi, Mr. NoHeato.... Wheres your heat!!!!'. He was even nice enough to include a sketch of me, as being Mr. NoHeato. I better say who it was, cause he'll want credibility: It was the yogmeister, Yogi. B. Bear!!
And Its completely true. My life has become alot less dramatic and tension-y since i left high-school. I guess it's because like, high-school always felt like an episode of Days of our Lives! There was always some drama unfolding, and it was great! Now, at uni, things are not so the same. But still, there is some drama... ok well not very much.... ok so there isnt really any! But dammit, im gunna create some.
As another good friend told me yesterday (man, i'm flying through the 'good friends' in this blog post), who recently himself just got a brand new gf (Good on ya dude!!), sometimes in life you just gotta go for it. So what if u get rejected, there are millions of girls out there, plently of other fish in the sea.
So, while i have been putting girls out of my mind lately, it doesnt mean im gunna completely stop the hunt. I'm gunna wait until I find someone i really really like, someone i fully connect with... and hell, i'm gunna go for it dammit!!
Anywho, now onto the video blog. 90% of it is footage i took from on the film set, so its pretty cool. What you wanna look out for though, and this is probably the SOLE REASON you should DEFINATELY watch this video blog, is my good mate PJ, who is the lead singer and guitarist in the hit band Future Native (they have record labels in the US! w00t), played a song for me and i recorded it on my phone, for my video blog. And it is awesome, so definately check it out!!!
